23 -year-old female with menstrual abnormalities more than two months
Procedure: endometrial biopsy
Light microscopy: a large number of nuclear inclusions in the endometrial surface epithelial cells and glandular epithelium.
Electron imcroscopy: examination of the nuclear inclusions showed that they consisted of granular material and displacement of nuclear chromatin. Intranuclear viral particles were not identified, but we found Virus-like particles in some cell surface.
Please help dignose if these virus-like particle is virus or not, and if these are virus, what kind of virus are? How about these changs of endometrial surface epithelial cells or glandular epithelium?
